She holds a B.Sc. from Cornell University and a M.A. from Rhode Island School of Design. She has studied at and participated in research at the International Institute of Biophysics in Germany and has published  articles in scientific journals internationally and here in the U.S.

​She learned qigong from masters in the US and China and senses acutely the unseen energies these practices cultivate. She has traveled extensively researching these forces and how they are used for healing in different parts of the world. In the late 1990s, she wrote down the vision for the Center and has worked to make it a reality ever since.

FOUNDER   

Lesley Shearer has been practicing Chinese Medicine for 30 years. Early in her career she chaired the committee that passed the first Colorado Acupuncture law and later served as president of the state’s Acupuncture Association.  ​​
